Manual (Post Game) Entry Guide
It is highly recommended that you use the Game Module whenever possible; however, when it
is not possible, the CyberSports Manual Entry allows for inputting game statistics from paper.
The Manual Entry Module consists of a spreadsheet that has been streamlined as much as possible.
Once the game statistics have been entered and saved to file, the manual entry files can be loaded into the season file or
league file to update cumulative individual and team statistics.
Manual Game Entry
- Open the Manual Entry Module and click the new file icon.
- On the manual game dialog screen, enter the basic game information.
- Load from file or create team files in the same manner as the game module.
Caution: the enter games statistic buttons will not activate until you
have loaded both team files.
Note: You will need the opponent totals for your cumulative reports; however, if you are
not going to play this team again and do not need a comlete boxscore, you can save some
time and effort by entering only one player (named "opponent") when create the opponent's team file, and entering all the
opponent totals under that player.
- Click on the Enter Game Statistics button and enter the individual and team stats.
CAUTION: Enter three point and two point field goals separately. If you wish
to have a combine total on the reports make sure the combine 2pt/3pt stats preference option is
selected in File/Preferences/Reports.
When shot charts are available, field goals can be quickly entered by clicking the
locations on the court diagrams. Use left mouse clicks for misses and right mouse clicks for makes.
CAUTION: Be sure to enter minutes played. If you don't know the exact minutes estimate or put a least
one minute for every player that played in the game; otherwise, when loaded into the season or league files
they will be given DNP and their stats will not compile.
Note: CyberSports will automatically check the statistics totals, and will alert you when they do not balance.
- Save the manual game to a .bbg file.
- Manual entry game files load it into the season and league files the same way as a normal
game file.
- Manual entry game files can also be post game webcasted.
