    FREE & LIVE Webcasting

  • FREE Webcasting to the CyberSportsUSA Website
  • Fully tested July 99 at the LA Summer Pro League, in 120 games with NBA teams.
  • We'll display your Rosters, Game Schedules, Game Stats and update the game play-by-play and box scores every 60 seconds during the game.
  • We won't show the competitive analysis information, though, so your tendencies and strategies are protected with CyberSports, Inc!
  • It's easy to use and fully automated. Just run a phone line to your computer in the Gym, or a network connection. Then connect to the Internet, locally, before the game. It's that simple!
  • Create a banner for your Team sponsors and our software will grab that banner and place it above your stat sheets on our Website. What a great way to get your local sponsors on the Internet for all of your fans.

  • Configure your system for Webcasting.
  • See our Webcasting Registration Instructions.

Webcasting & Fund-raising with CyberSports for Basketball

What is Webcasting?
Webcasting is a way for you to provide the most up-to-the-minute summary of your game information on the Internet. We have designed an attractive web page that reflects information captured with the Game Module, so that anyone with an Internet connection can have the latest information about your game as it is played! Once the game is over, standard game reports will stay on the Website for reference. This will not include any of the in-depth analysis reports that a coach would consider confidential information –only things like Rosters, Box Scores, Play-by-Play and maybe a Leaders Report – just the basics!

Equipment Needed
First of all, you must be using Version 4 of CyberSports for Basketball. To add Webcasting, you need two additional items: (1) a phone line connected to your computer modem and (2) an Internet account that allows you to get connected during the game.

Cost
The most current version of the Game Monitor must be used and you must be using Version 4 of CyberSports for Basketball. If you have Version 4, then there is no additional charge for software. If you have an earlier version, you need to upgrade to Version 4 ($99 + $10 shipping & handling). Click here for updates you can download. We will be improving the Game Monitor before October and will provide that update on our Website for you. If you don’t have CyberSports for Basketball, the cost is $199 (+ $10 shipping & handling). Click here for more information.

Benefits
Webcasting provides updates during the game, every 60 seconds. When the game is over, half-time box scores and post-game box scores and other basic reports will be placed on our Website for your fans to review, for the media to use in their news articles, and for parents, relatives, and boosters who cannot attend the game.

Fundraising
CyberSports, Inc. will not generate revenue from advertisements on any of the game reports. However, you can (and should) generate revenue from advertising directly on your Webcasts and game reports. Just design an “electronic banner” which will appear as a header on the Live Webcast page and each report that is placed on the site. This banner may include the logo(s) of one or more sponsors. The banner stays on your computer during the game and our software picks it up and displays it on the Internet. If you find a sponsor willing to pay to have their logo on your Internet team reports – great! You can even have different sponsors for each team or for a special tournament you run. You collect and keep all advertising revenues that you generate.
CyberSports, Inc. reserves the rights for high-level advertising on our Website.

What does a Webcast look like?
The FILA Summer Pro League in Los Angeles purchased CyberSports for Basketball for their 120 game league, hosting 12 NBA teams, 4 international teams, teams made up of former and future professional athletes, and a local High School all-star game on August 1st.

    Comments from fans:
  • “this CyberSports web site is great!”
  • “Will the Rocky Mountain Revue summer league games be cybercast as were the Fila summer league games? If not, is there anything we fans can do to help make it happen?”
  • “a similar league tournament in Denver, starting tomorrow. Can you tell me if there will be similar coverage, scores, box scores, rosters, -like there was in Long Beach, Calif.?”
  • “They are awesome!”
  • “Our owner, plus all our directors have internet access and this would be a great tool”
