How do I email game files?
The exact method will depend on the type of email software you are using. Most email
software allows you to "Attach" a file. CyberSports game, season and tournament
files are very small and can be attached to your message quite easily. If you're using
Microsoft Exchange or Microsoft Outlook, you'll see a paperclip icon on the toolbar. Click
on this icon and then locate the game, season, team or tournament file you want to email.
Look for some features in Version 4 that will make this more fun than ever.

Where can I find my game file?
If you're using Windows 95 and you're sure that the game file was saved but you're not
sure where it was saved -- Click on the Start button and choose Find-->Files or
Folders. Type in the name of the game file, or at least the first few characters of the
filename. Then click Find Now. A list of the files beginning with the name you entered
will be located. To the right of the filename you'll find the directory name where it was
saved. You can then use Windows Explorer to move it to the proper location.

Why doesn't my Game Module prompt for Rebounds and Assists?
Here's and easy one. When you first received your software, we suggested you turn off
this feature so that you could concentrate on learning the process without worrying about
Rebounds and Assists.
To turn this feature back on, just click on File-->Preferences. Then remove the 'x'
from Simplified Stat Keeping. Click OK. Now you will be prompted for Rebounds and Assists.

Recording games from Video
Use a spotter. If you have a son or daughter who is old enough to help, teach them to
spot for you. This will save a lot of time.
When the camera person is recording the game, they should remember to:
1. Keep recording during timeouts, to help you see substitutions.
2. Zoom in on clock at every pause before Free Throws. This will usually help you to
see who committed the foul, check the clock, check the number of team fouls, etc.
3. When a foul is called, zoom in on the referee signaling to the bench.
4. In the Fall, be sure to order the Version 4 upgrade. Version 4 will include a
feature that allows you to remove all the players from the court with a single click. This
will save you a lot of time.

What is Individual Lineup Analysis all About?
Good Question. This report was especially designed to "discover" those
players who are contributing to the team's success, but don't stand out on the typical
game stats. If you come across a player like this, his/her hidden talent will show up on
the Individual Analysis report.
This report measures the success of the TEAM, while a given player was in the game. It
does not measure Individual Stats -- just the team stats. In the simplest case, suppose
four of your players play the entire game. Let's say Jim plays the entire first half, but
is replaced by Ken in the second half. The individual Lineup Analysis report would measure
the contributions of Jim and Ken pretty accurately, because not much else has changed.
Over the course of the season, this measurement will have more and more value as you
accumulate the Season Stats.

When will there be a new version for Windows 95?
It's already available! Version 4 of CyberSports for Basketball is a true 32 bit
application. This means that it allows your Windows 95/98 operating system to work most
efficiently. However, Version 4 does not work at all with Windows 3.1.
Version 3.9 is the final version for Windows 3.1. If your computer still has Windows
3.1, you probably should be making plans to upgrade to Windows 98 or replace it.

How can I post the reports on my website?
With Version 3, you'll have to scan the paper reports and then post the electronic
images on your website.
With Version 4 , you can 'print' your reports to a file that can be posted directly to
your website. You'll have a lot of fun with this feature.

How can I send my game information to someone who doesn't have
CyberSports?
With Version 3, you'll have to scan the paper reports and then fax or mail them to your
colleague. They won't be able to use the game files.
With Version 4, you can email a copy of your game files to anyone and we'll provide a
way for them to view the reports and even print them. We're building a Game Viewer program
that your friend will be able to download directly from our website!! Yes, it's FREE!!
After they install the viewer, they'll be able to select your game file and look through
the reports on Print Preview. They'll also be able to print any of the reports they want.
With the viewer program your friend can't edit the game file or record a new game. For
that they'll have to buy the software.
